Fall Mountain Vacation - October 2010

We traveled to Asheville, North Carolina to have fun in the Fall colored mountains. The weather was nice and the colors showed up right on time! Our vacation in that area included seeing the entire Biltmore Estate, various stops along the Blue Ridge Parkway and a visit to Chimney Rock. Fall colors were showing everywhere and were at their peak throughout the higher elevations. We then headed over to the Lazy 5 Farm in Mooresville, NC. There we rode horse drawn wagons to feed an assortment of exotic animals and enjoyed some Fall festival style activities. Finally, we enjoyed lots of fun rides at Carowinds theme park in Charlotte, NC. We had a great time and look forward to the next adventure!
