Enchantment Cruise - October 2nd, 2004 Well, we went on another cruise already! This time it was aboard Royal Caribbean's "Enchantment Of The Seas". We departed from Fort Lauderdale, FL for a 5 night / 6 Day cruise to Ocho Rios, Jamaica and Labadee, Hispaniola (Royal Caribbean's private island in Haiti). The ship, the crew, the food, and everything else was simply wonderful, as usual, and we are already looking forward to our next cruise in March 2005! ;) Click on a thumbnail below for the full size / quality picture.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica In Jamaica, we went to Dolphin Cove, where we touched and kissed a dolphin named Callie. Dolphin Cove people took pictures of that portion of the events and those will be added once they are scanned. We also went to Dunn's River Falls, a 600 Ft. natural waterfall that empties into the ocean.
Labadee, Hispaniola (Haiti) Besides swimming, exploring, and relaxing in this tropical paradise, we also went tandem parasailing as well. We flew as high as 400 ft. and returned to a dry landing on the parasail boat. I had another passenger take pictures of us while we were up, and returned the favor for him as well. Royal Caribbean owns this island area and provided a huge buffet lunch for our ship's passengers (the only vistors there). Labadee is a truly beautiful place to be.
Click the link above to see a video of the sea side beach at Labadee. This is 14.1 MB AVI file, and was taken with the same digital camera we use for all the pictures.
Scanned Pics Here are few scans of some of the pics we bought on board and at Dolphin Cove in Jamaica.
